Named the "Resort of the Century" by Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report in 1999, The Greenbrier's performance continues to win top ratings year after year, including the AAA Five Diamond Award since its inception in 1976, as well as the Mobil Four-Star Award.

• Conde Nast Traveler added the resort to its Gold List "World's Best 700 Places to Stay" in 2006.
• The resort was ranked #1 on Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report's list of "Top 20 U.S. Resort Hotels" for both 2003 and 2004.

• The Greenbrier Spa is one of only 30 spas around the world to win the coveted Five-Star rating from Forbes.
• Ranked #13 for "Top Resort Spa in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Caribbean" in 2010 Conde Nast Traveler.
• In 2010, SpaFinder recently named the spa among the "Top 10 Best Spas in the World" with particular excellence in the categories for Men, Golf, Medical Programming, and Mineral Springs.
• Spa Magazine's 2010 Silver Sage Readers' Choice Awards, including Favorite Mineral Springs Spa.
• Conde Nast Traveler magazine also named it in the "Top 55 Spa List" for North America, the Caribbean and at Sea in 2008.
• Travel + Leisure magazine also named The Greenbrier Spa in the "Top 25 Hotel Spas" in their annual "The Best of 2007" report.

Recent Golf Awards

• Corporate and Incentive Travel magazine awarded The Greenbrier the 2009 "Greens of Distinction" Award for overall golf excellence.
• In Golfweek's Ultimate Guide to Golf Course Living and Great Escapes for 2013 The Greenbrier's golf course, The Old White TPC, is rated #26 Best Resort Courses.The Greenbrier Sporting Club was also ranked. The Snead was # 69 in the list of  Best Residential Courses.
• In 2008, Golf Magazine's Best Golf Resort awarded the title of "Platinum Resort" to The Greenbrier and claimed it as one of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play".
• GolfStyles Washington named The Greenbrier to their "100 Must-Play Courses of the Middle Atlantic".
• Travel + Leisure Golf recognized the resort in several areas with their "World's Best 2005 Reader Survey" for the midwest, northeast & mid atlantic. These awards included "#3 Best Golf Resort", "#3 Best Resort for Family Trips", "#1 Best Restaurants" and "#2 Best Spa/Gym".
